Our Lives Together...
We are a very loving family who above all enjoy having fun and spending time together. We both grew up in Cincinnati and have our families close by and visit often. We bought our home in 2003 in a nice suburban area with lots of kids in the neighborhood that are always outside playing with Sabrina. They enjoy riding bikes and hiking through the wooded trails with us.
Our family and friends are very supportive of our decision to adopt again and see it as a wonderful way for us to grow our family. We will create a loving, supportive and fun atmosphere in which your child will thrive and know they are loved.
Our Hobbies...
We have many similar interests. Ralph loves to run in 5k Marathons, play tennis, golf and rollerblade in the park. Ralph enjoys the outdoors and loves to work around the house.
Patty enjoys drawing like the pictures in this letter, painting, reading, making flower arrangements and doing other crafty things. Patty also loves to garden, play golf, run 5k’s with Ralph and go rollerblading together. Sabrina loves to run with us in her stroller and always yells for daddy to go faster.
We also love to swing dance and ballroom dance, mostly because it makes us laugh at how silly we probably look trying to get the steps right, but also because it’s just fun. We both believe that exercising is very important to staying healthy. We enjoy taking walks or running throughout the neighborhood. We love taking Sabrina to the nearby park, watching her swing, slide and play in the sandbox with other children. We recently bought an RV and have had many wonderful experiences camping with friends over the summers.
We enjoy taking vacations and wish to see many more places in our lives. We would like to revisit places we went to on trips as children like Disney World, Bermuda and Nantucket. We went to Italy on our honeymoon and had a wonderful experience with many stories to share. We have gone on cruises, seen the beach many times, enjoyed skiing trips and plan to see many more places. We have taken Sabrina to the beach a few times in Florida and she loves playing in the sand and watching the dolphins.
Our Faith...
We attend a large local Catholic Church and were both baptized and raised as Catholics. We find that going to church is a way to bring the family together and look forward to our weekends together sharing with God. We grew up miles away from each other, but were actually baptized in the same church and feel this was destiny. We both grew up with solid morals and values, and we look forward to sharing our faith with our children.
Our Hope...
We believe we would be great parents for your baby for many reasons. We love kids and can offer a secure family life filled with love and laughter. This child will have the warm embrace of a large extended family, and our support as parents to develop their interests, passions and talents. We are financially secure, strongly value education, and appreciate the unique role a parent can play in terms of developing their child’s judgment, values and view of the world.
